I think I mentioned a while back that we purchased an RV because it made sense for us to have a place to live when we return to Texas to visit our families, which happen to be spread from Fort Worthto Cut N Shoot to Conroe to Spring to Jersey Village (not to mention Lubbock and Brenham), all towns in Texas in case you didn't make the connection.
Anyways, It's been a crazy, hectic time for us since we returned from Storville and Grenada. We loved our short visit to our favorite island and our home on Storyville. I still have blog posts that I haven't made from our trip there. So while I spend my days in chilly Texas I will look through my photos of the oil downs and weddings and fun stuff that we did while we were in warm (OK, truth be told, hot as hades) Grenada.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, or RV, depending on how you want to look at it. We've been busy preparing for my mom's estate sale. It's been very draining emotionally on our family to go through this, but we are so fortunate to have each other to lean on. I'm glad that we're back here for the holidays so that we can spend them together. Mom was the glue for us all and now we will see how well we can keep the holiday traditions going.

I also mentioned that we were working on a name for the RV. On my last post "Land Shark" was in the lead but somehow it seemed like we could come up with something that fit us better. While we were limin' with our family in Grenada we were tossing around ideas for a name and I was trying to come up with something to use with Story, you know, maybe another name for a town other than ville, but nothing seemed to fit. Suddenly Nesta said, how about Storyvilla, a villa is a home and that is your home. I loved it the minute I heard her say it and I knew that we had a winner! Thanks Nesta for giving our 2nd home a name. I think we need to consider a naming ceremony.
We are starting to get settled on Storyvilla and we hope to take our first road trip in the next week or so. Here are some pictures of our second home ....... Storyvilla
